Sunbrella is a performance fabric made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic. The colour is built into the fibers rather than applied only to the surface, helping the fabric resist fading from prolonged sun exposure.
Yes. Because Sunbrella uses solution-dyed fibers, the colour runs throughout the fiber rather than sitting on the surface. This helps it maintain its colour even with years of direct sunlight.
Sunbrella fabric is water-repellent rather than completely waterproof. Water beads up and rolls off the fabric, while the material also resists mold and mildew.
Most everyday spills and stains can be cleaned with soap and water. Sunbrella fabric can also be cleaned with a diluted bleach solution when needed, without compromising its colour.
